General counseling to families and individuals primarily, but not limited to, the Spanish-speaking community. Some translation, advocacy, referral and crisis services. Goal is self-sufficiency. Staff is bi-lingual and bi-cultural. Food voucher program. Documented and undocumented residents served. Sliding scale or free fees. Spanish services available.

The mission of Scotts valley Tribal TANF is for our people to form healthy, self-sufficient families and to provide Native American families with resources available in the Contra Costa County community.  SVTT mission is also to support the vision for the preservation of two (2) parent homes, inspire Native American parents for positive change for their families and preserve culturally positive traditions for all Native familes. Clients must ne low income, live in Contra Costa County, and have a Native American child in the home.

Hours of Services: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

Free to qualified Native American families

English and Spanish available

The Latina Center utilizes a peer support approach to build the capacity of local Latinas through a Peer Leader model of leadership development. By providing skills-based trainings, The Latina Center aims to empower local Latinas to identify important health issues in their community and strengthen their individual capacities to be able to address these health issues. Most of The Latina Center programs are offered in Spanish and count with the participation of both monolingual and bilingual Latinas from both Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
We offer the following programs:
