Baby Bags
When parents leave hospitals in Contra Costa County with new babies, we provide them with useful and important information about how to take care of babies.
The Child Abuse Prevention Council is currently delivering Baby Bags to Sutter Delta, Kaiser of Antioch Teen Clinic, Richmond Health Clinic, Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center, John Muir Medical Center, Kaiser of Richmond, Kaiser of Walnut Creek, and San Ramon Regional Medical Center. We deliver over 500 English bags and over 200 Spanish bags each month to these hospitals.
Information provided in the Baby Bags includes Surviving Parenthood, a resource guide for parents, Baby Steps, a handbook for new parents, a growth chart poster, and various other pieces of information.
Surviving Parenthood Guide now On-Line!
CAPC's Surviving Parenthood Guide, currently in its 11th print edition, is now available on this web site! You can browse listings by agency name, or search by agency, service or need.
